“Eat up please”
“Eat up please” a phrase that never grows old. Here at Buckingham Montessori we understand the importance of nutrition and how it impacts a child’s development. Our team of cooks use the minimalist amount of sugar and prepare healthy balanced meals daily on site. They serve a minimum of 4 of the 5 a day.
Our meals vary throughout the week encouraging children to taste and enjoy new flavours. Healthy eating involves a variety of nutritious food containing vitamins, minerals and proteins. Children need regular meals and snacks to support their growth and physical development.
Life learning doesn’t stop at the lunch table. Here we teach children about planting, harvesting and the life-cycle. And, use mealtime as a fun, social period to sit and interact with each other.
